Included Memorial Products
#1 - Clay Pawprint
Every euthanasia includes a custom clay pawprint made of polymer clay. We can create a custom swirl of your pet's colors, fun swirls in many bright colors, or just a solid color clay. With self burials we will warm/swirl the clay and get the impression before we leave. If we are handling cremation, we will get the impression before we transfer your pet to the crematorium. Once we get an impression of your pet's pawprint, we cut out the shape of a heart or circle, add your pet's name, and cure the clay. We usually use a front paw to get the best print. Please note that with declawed cats we often use the back paw to get a better print so you may see claws present. Normally, we include the claws with cats and do not on dog prints. If you would like the claws included in your dog's print, just ask! We are more than happy to accommodate anything we can.
After the clay is cured we can paint your pet's name and print if desired. Once your pawprint is finished, we will tie on a ribbon so you can hang it if desired. We either mail your print back in 1-2 weeks (for self burials or communal cremations) or hand deliver at the time we deliver ashes (for private cremations).
Although we do our best to make every print exactly how you desire, please note that any swirls/custom colors are created individually each time and there may be slight variations in color/swirl pattern. Each pawprint is also unique and may look a different shape/texture than the examples.
Each euthanasia appointment includes one complementary clay pawprint. Additional clay pawprints can be selected on the memorial products form for $50 each. All additional prints can be the same colors/selection, or they can all be unique if desired. Below are the clay colors, paint colors, and some examples. #2 & 3 - Ink Pawprint & Ink Noseprint
Every euthanasia includes an ink pawprint and noseprint on a 4"x6" white cardstock card. We usually use a front paw to get the best pawprint. Please note that with declawed cats we often use the back paw to get a better pawprint. We generally shoot for a 'solid' print, that will engrave or tattoo well. If you have a specific request (using for tattoo, necklace, etc.) or have a specific vision (would like lighter print, want prints together, etc.) please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.
If your pet has long/matted hair between their toes, no worries! We shave all feet before making the print in order to get the best pawprint. We also may give your pet a manicure if nails are long. With self burials we will leave the prints with you to dry. With communal cremations you will see the prints in the mail in 1-2 weeks. With private cremations the prints will be delivered to you with your pet's ashes.
Although we do our best to make every print exactly how you desire, please note that some paws and noses print differently than others. Some dogs with severely thickened toe-pads or cats with severe arthritis may have less defined prints. With brachycephalic dogs (short nosed dogs like pugs. bulldogs, etc.), we may not be able to capture a noseprint. Although we try to include whiskers/beards in the noseprint, depending on the shape of your pet's nose there may be more/less that takes up ink. There are also certain conditions (nasal tumors, severe heart failure, etc.) that may make a noseprint more difficult or impossible. We will inform you at the time of your appointment if we think we may struggle getting a noseprint.
Each euthanasia appointment includes one complementary ink noseprint/pawprint. Additional prints can be selected on the memorial products form for $10 each. Below are some examples of previous prints.
#4 - Lock of Hair
Every euthanasia includes a lock of hair in a small glass vial. We usually attempt to get a representative sample of your pet's colors. If you would like specific hair (behind the ears, tail, etc.) just let us know. If you would like a larger sample of hair, we can provide one in a plastic bag. With self burials we will leave the hair with you. With communal cremations you will see the hair in the mail in 1-2 weeks. With private cremations the hair will be delivered to you with your pet's ashes.

Urn Customizations
We are excited to announce that we can now personalize our whitewashed wood urns! We design and laser engrave them ourselves, so that you know your urn is personalized exactly how you would like.

We can add additional text to the front/top, your pet's pawprint, your pet's noseprint, and a photo of your pet. There are a choice of 4 standard fonts, and if you would like something special we will do our best to accommodate. If you choose to customize your pet's urn on the memorial products form, we will work on creating a proof for you prior to engraving. Please allow 7-10 days after your appointment for us to return a proof.
If you wanted a photo engraving, we will send you an email after your appointment for you to send over a photo. Please try to select one that is in focus, is not pixelated, is not a screenshot, and includes your pet's full head. If you are not sure which photo to choose, you can send a few over and we will attempt to select one that we think will work the best. If you selected a noseprint/pawprint engraving, we will scan your pet's prints in and also create a digital print that we will send over with your proof.

All urns come with your pet's name engraving included. A photo engraving is $50 additional. A pawprint engraving is $25 additional. A noseprint engraving is $25 additional. Additional text on the front/top of the urn is $10 additional. An additional urn is $50 additional. Below are some examples of previously engraved urns.
